About

To be honest, I’m not sure why I made this website. It started out as a project to write meaningful essays with a friend of mine but it soon dribbled into an ordinary personal blog.

There isn’t really a compelling reason for you to keep up with my blog except that you might like the things that I like. In which case you should probably stick around because I always write about what I like and what I dislike so you can profit from my discoveries and my mistakes.

It annoys me when a movie synopsis uses the phrase “coming-of-age” because I think we spend our whole lives trying to come of age. As it turns out, blogs are an easy way to document the process.

I won’t lie and say that I am writing this blog for myself. I have opinions and ideas that I’d like to spread. This is my lazy way of doing it for now. Maybe one day I can figure out a way to do it better.

Many people try so hard to be different and unique. I don’t mind being interested in cliche things like photography, food, architecture, films, and books. I like knowing that there are a lot of people out there I can talk to and learn from about these things.

Being unique for the sake of being unique is immature.

I take absolute pleasure in telling a good story. For some reason my fingers absorb grease really well. I’m madly in love with my husband.

Oh, and I would really, really like to run through a field of wheat.
