disable backspace in FF

The husband uses the backspace key a lot to go back in a browser but I personally can’t stand it.  Especially when I accidentally hit backspace without being in a field and it takes me to the previous page.

Luckily, you can disable it in Firefox:

  1. Type “about:config” into the address bar
  2. Scroll down until you find “browser.backspace_action”
  3. Double-click it
  4. Change the value from “0″ to “2″.

No more accidental navigation!
