apologies
Every morning I make a mental checklist of things I need to accomplish. Every day I put “blogging” on my list — but for the past week or so, the bed has been calling for me long before I am anywhere close to crossing all the things off before blogging.
But I wanted you to know that I think about it daily, I really do.
Maybe next semester I’ll get back to posting 3-4 posts a week. Those were the good old days.
In other news, I’m really worried that these carved pumpkins are going to start rotting before we can show them off this weekend. Any tips on pumpkin preservation?

Maybe keep them outside tonight. It’s supposed to get pretty chilly. Maybe spray some lisol? chuck them in your dehydrator? moisture in this case is not your friend.

i have actually heard that if you spray WD-40 on them, it preserves them for a bit. i have never personally tried that.

jen, the WD-40 would make it a bit of a fire hazard, don’t ya think? haha although, a flaming pumpkin would be quite a sight to see!
