Done reading now. May I repost this on my website or link to it? My values are not 100% the same as yours and even then I’m still gathering information to see what my values are regarding those issues, but I love the perspective you offered on the ones I differ from. This is awesome, sp.

I’m not even done reading, but I just wanted to say thank you for providing an unbiased opinion of the candidates based on your values, not what “he said” or “she said”. I’m looking forward to reading the rest.

Good post. I really enjoyed it. Though I’m not 100% on either of the candidates I do like Obama, and I hope that he is able to follow through with the majority of what he’s proposed. As for the lobbying of special interest groups I’m just not so sure that will ever go away. So I’m skeptical of that part of his speech, but I’m limited in my own theories and thoughts as well. I feel the same way about abortion as well. There should be more focus on how to prevent teenage or unplanned pregnancies, possibly funding into welfare for single mothers who have to support their children (daycare, healthcare, etc) so that abortion might not seem like the only alternate solution. But again take my thoughts with a grain of salt. Good post

thanks for this honest, thoughtful post. here’s a website you might be interested in. a republican constitutional law professor at pepperdine named doug kmiec is voting for obama on the grounds that obama’s economic and health care policies would actually do more to reduce the abortion rate than mccain’s platform.
